I am puzzled, why would Norwich City Council would want to bath the City Hall, on the 25th May, with purple light to commemorate the passing of a resident of Minnesota, George Floyd, whilst ignoring the anniversaries of the savage killing of Lee Rigby and the 23 dead at the Manchester Area [ with 800! Wounded ]?
Sure they must have realised it would provoke a backlash?
I have had friends in the States ask what the connection is between Norwich and Minneapolis !
Luckily Lee was well remembered with a Ride of Respect by Sikh Bikers paying their respects for him on the anniversary of his death.
